The Ultimate New Years Eve Recipe Collection (1)

Happy New Year, Dear Reader! If you’re here and you’re reading this, you must be looking for some delicious recipe ideas for your New Year’s Eve celebration. Whether you are celebrating alone with your cat, your significant other, or everyone in your lockdown bubble, there are so many recipes in The Ultimate New Year’s Eve Recipe Collection that will fit perfectly into your plans.

With Christmas behind us, it’s time to look forward to a brand new year. Hopefully, it is a year filled with new growth and opportunity. And, if we can’t have those things, then at least let us have our health and no more lockdowns! Can I get an amen?

I’ve taken the liberty of breaking down The Ultimate New Year’s Eve Recipe Collection into categories. Some of them might overlap with other categories, but I’ve tried to keep them tied to just one. No room for duplicates here!

On the backend, I’ve done all the work for you. As soon as you see a picture of a food item that you like, just click on it. A new window will open in your browser so that you don’t lose your place on this page. No searching, no downloading, each and every recipe is just a click away.

DIPS AND SPREADS

Now, are you ready to get started? Good!! How about we start with something every single party needs? That’s right, Dear Reader, a party is no party at all without a dip of some kind. Am I right!?

DIPPING SAUCES

While we’re on the subject of dips and spreads, maybe now is a good time to talk about dipping sauces. I tend to think of dipping sauces as being quite different from dips and The Ultimate New Year’s Eve Recipe Collection wouldn’t be complete without them. First of all, they’re a thinner consistency, and dipping sauces can sometimes be warm or hot.

I don’t have many dipping sauce recipes to offer, but the three I’ve selected for you are absolutely delicious. The sweet and sour sauce can be used on everything! (Just me!?)

BAKED DIPS

Do you prefer cold dips or baked dips? I guess it all depends on what the dip is being used for, right? But, some dippers can be used in a hot or cold dip. Corn chips, for example, can be used in either. I tend to serve warm or baked dips with crackers or grilled sliced baguette. If you can find pita chips, they’re really good with baked dips too!

CHICKEN WINGS

Now, I don’t know about you, but I don’t feel that a party is complete without some type of meat. The Ultimate New Year’s Eve Recipe Collection has got you covered! For a New Year’s Eve party, I would most certainly stick to the meat that can be eaten as finger food. If you need a fork and knife to eat it, it doesn’t belong at a party! Let’s take a look at my favourite chicken wing recipes!

PIZZAS AND FLATBREADS

We are casual, stay-at-home folk. Even before the pandemic, we would make a bunch of food, line up a few movies, and spend the night on the couch. In our home, movies and pizza go hand in hand. And, I have a few pizza recipes that I go to over and over again. Oh, and I almost always use the same pizza dough!

FRIED APPETIZERS AND FINGER FOODS

Of course, fried foods and just about anything you can eat with a toothpick or a skewer makes a perfect party food favourite. Here, I’ve put together a series of appetizers that we love to have no matter what the occasion. We have fried and baked apps here!!

SANDWICHES

So, this next bit might seem strange to some. But, I’ve been to many parties with a platter or two of sandwiches at the ready. The key, I think, is to up your sandwich game. Sure, you could serve ham and cheese, but why not make something special. After all, New Year’s Eve only comes once a year!

SNACK MIXES

Snack mixes need to be present. There’s really no doubt about that. Two of these are snack mixes that I make for Christmas, but they’re just as good for a New Year’s Eve celebration too. And, yes, I know the popcorn is an Oscar Party Popcorn, but as far as I’m concerned, anytime is a good time for popcorn!

BEVERAGES

Of course, if you’re going to have a party, and eat all of this food, you’re going to need something to wash it down with.

And there you have it! There really is something in here for everyone. And, with so many finger foods and drinks to choose from, why make just one or two? Make a bunch of food from The Ultimate New Year’s Eve Recipe Collection and enjoy yourself. You can worry about your diet tomorrow! Happy New Year!!!
