The food looked nicer than it tasted. It was good, but not superb. Also, I asked for the veal but without truffle sauce. They told me this was possible, but it was served with truffle sauce. All in all, it’s okay for the price you pay but not extraordinary.

In my opinion this place is quite overrated.The ambience is nice but quite uncomfortbale especially during this cold period. The air purifier gives you chills, when you are supposed to find a warm place while dinning in a restaurant.The food was ok, but the taste and the quality was far away from the price you were paying. I loved the whole experience with the place. First of all the service was really good and the staff was so friendly. The food we ordered was some fried fish, tuna, pasta and fried shrimp. Even though my portion was small I still enjoyed it very much and the shrimp was amazing.

The pasta was *chef’s kiss and the service was great as well. We got a free lime sorbet with our meal and it was so good!

Overall taste is good for any type of food we order. The important point is that the waiter asks customer for any customization and waits near the table patiently until we decide the order.

We enjoyed the food here, and although I've read the bad review of the quinoa shrimp salad, we ordered it and it was 😋The salmon was amazing, but the rissoto with chicken fille, parmesan and mushrooms wasn't what we expected, since it was put in the main dish not the rissoto category, we expected more meat (it was good but not wow)

Located nearby dowtown (aka Blloku) the restaurant echoes of a good fish restaurant with nice money-for-value balance. Nowadays it has become expensive with tiresome service and a quality of food which, tough fresh, it is not high quality. Worth mentioning the overpricing of wines, something which simmer down any idea to a comeback. Parking not easy, better use taxi to come.

With no lights and outside Marketing i would have never found on walking by.After entering I was surprised about the size of this Souterrain place. Nicely furnitured and with friendly staff.I only had Linguine (Pasta) with seafood.The portion of pasta was generous and I appreciate they'd been asking if it was enough (and maybe served some more complimentary) - for me it was enough.The pasta itself was en point.Now comes the weak point:The taste was nothing outstanding and I had much better Linguine me fruta dethi in other Tirana restaurants. What they brought was not at all what it looks like in the photo in the reviews, but the biggest ‘surprise’ was their Caesar, with mayonnaise, Chinese cabbage and old breadcrumbs! I never leave reviews but my experience was so good I have to make an exception. The seafood I eat was just exceptional and the service even better. Without asking we even received an entire appetizer for free just because the chef thought we would like it. Furthermore, they really know their fish and have an amazing wine collection. The most bizarre thing was that all of this came for a fraction of the price you'd expect to pay at a restaurant like this.All in all I highly recommend this restaurant is you like to eat fish

Tirana's hidden gem! We have travelled all of Europe from east to west, and this is by-far the best seafood restaurant we have experienced. Food at I’ll Gusto was exceptional. This is some of the freshest seafood I have ever had. The service was top notch and even the owner came over personally to make sure we had everything we need. I have nothing bad to say and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Tirana.

I ordered a pizza that didn't have olives on the menu. The pizza came out with big green olives. I tried to eat it anyway as I was hungry. It was disgusting and worse than the black olive slices usually on pizza. The sauce was orange and terrible with hardly any cheese. My wife's calzone was also lacking sauce and cheese. She asked for some sauce on the side and she got the same orange sauce. Like canned tomato soup and it was cold. When we didn't eat our food the waiter asked if we wanted to take it with us. It was a whole pizza minus the slice I forced myself to eat and half of a calzone. I told him that we didn't like the food and didn't want it. He asked why and I told him mostly because of the olives that were not on the menu. He looked at the menu with the cook and another waiter. They argued about it for a couple of minutes. Then gave us the bill without taking anything off. They stood there until we payed in full then held the door open for us to leave.

I have a couple positives before I express concerns. Staff was welcoming and portion sizes significantly large. One serving of pasta could easily have satisfied 2. After being served some disappointing mussels as entree and returning them, we asked for no mussels in the pasta. They didn’t substitute the mussels with other seafood, hence the dish was mostly just linguine with fresh tomatoes. I counted one small shrimp, one crab cut in half, and few small pieces of squid…no vongole. Not worth going again imo. And the restaurant was loud, with no privacy.

They also have good appetizers, salads, pizza (which is also available for takeout) and wine. The entrance to Fiore is somewhat hidden. It is actually an unground restaurant.

Fresh fish, great service but it will cost you ;)My mom had heard about this place on TV and it was right in our neighbourhood so I decided to take her there.The location is Ok, I would say it doesn't suit the pricing of the restaurant because it is located in a relatively poor neighbourhood in Tirana. Easy to find on the main street right across the new maternity hospital.The entrance was a bit quiet and lonely but once we went in another world opened. Simple but elegant with lovely decor and paintings inside.The service was excellent, just like in fine dining restaurants. No menus so the waiter didn't mind explaining everything. They showcase fresh fish for you to chose and they help you decide what works best and in what sauce or style of cooking.Between the two of us, we shared:- an arugula salad with pomegranate and shaved Parmesan which was fresh and excellent- pasta with date sea shells (the thin brown ones) which was great but as I mentioned to the waiter it was too salty and the pasta was a little too al dente- a medium size fish cooked with cherry tomatoes- 1/2 house red wine- big bottle of waterAll this for about 55$ - the fish had the highest price of course. The price is not expensive for the quality, taste and service you get compared to global standards but if I have to compare to the average Albanian living standards it is very expensive.The food was great and so was the wine which was smooth and light. The place is neat and bathrooms were clean. Ambience is great filled with families and young couples. Would recommend for a special occasion and definitely a place to visit for foreigners.

This restaurant does not provide a menu and the pricing is out of this world... unbelievably expensive (i.e a plate of grilled shrimps round 60€). The items are very fresh and feels of great quality. The service felt deceptive. The interrior and bathroom are meh. If you decide that you should go there, just order regular seafood pasta and stay awaaaay from raw seafood salads and grilled items

The second i stepped in this place, it looked amazing. The outside and inside is so well decorated and i love it. The waiter came to us and asked us about what we were going to order, and we knew we were getting the all you can eat. The food was amazing. I honestly loved this place.

This is the second time I came back to Yamato after 3 years ( I live in Asia ). The food was not even close to what you can get in a street food in Asia. The beef was swimming in the tasteless ramen. ( as u can see in the pic). Sticky rice in the sushi and shrimp tempura was mushy as if u are eating marshmallow. Prices are so high as if they are serving fine dining. There are no waiters there, just amateurs. Don’t have the idea of what service means. It’s not their fault because they are not trained. Nice option in Kavaja city.The place is located in a quiet area, 5 min by car from the city centre. The restaurant is part of a hotel complex, with plenty of parking places.Overall the atmosphere is good, with basic furnishing, but comfortable.Food is fresh and well cooked. Their speciality is seafood, but as i noticed they also offered meat plates and pizza. Definitely would recommend the Fiore salad, with greens and small shrimps. We ordered also a shrimp pasta, that was divided for too. Everything was abundant. I could not even finish the half of my grilled fish ☺️. Strongly recommend their sparking house wine, so fresh!Service was good enough. Prices are fair enough for what you get.It is definitely an option if you are a traveler and want to eat good food in a non commercial place.

The food was good. Overall, the dishes were not expensive. But, the ober proposed us to take a fish which was not on the menu, and he did not tell us the price beforehand.When I wanted to pay, I saw that the fish was 175euros. This did not feel fair to pay for the fish.I would not return here.

They are having complimentary food as Mussels and roasted toast which seems good but I got stomach pain after I went out of the restaurant. Apart from this ambience is very good and good option for sea food lovers but the experience is not good for me.

I had the opportunity to have dinner and enjoyed a los the salad, the soup and the rissoto, all excelent quality and very tasty. The waitress, Olivia, was very attentive and helpfull, we had somo little conversation about Albania. I enjoyed the resteurant, decoration, ambience, music...all good! Will come back in my next visit to Tirana!

Fish Time is a restaurant that is located near one of the centers of Tirana. It is easily accessible and have a paid parking place nearby. The restaurant is very clean. The waiters are really gentle and try to do their work with a smile on their face. On sundays is prefered if you reserve because it has to many customers. The foos is fresh and really delicious. The prices are affordable. It is really recommended.

While we did hesitate when picking this place because of its location (which, granted, is not ideal), we are happy that we ate here on our first night, since everything we tried was spectacular and very nicely presented. We found this restaurant on Google reviews and decided to stop by for lunch. The staff is very friendly and speak English. I ordered the Salat King House (King House Salad) which has an excellent dressing. Others in my party ordered the Spinach Ravioli, Chicken salad, and Spaghetti Bolognese. Everyone enjoyed their meals. If you're in the area I would highly suggest you stop by and have a meal here.

The food and service were perfect. You can go there and have a nice evening. Waiters will give you a nice advice about food and drinks. And must have is raki. Everything what you will have they prepare by themselves (bread, wine, spaghetti, raki). Perfect restaurant.

This restaurant is a real find, it maybe a little out of the way but it’s worth making the effort to visit. I'm staying at the Doanesia Hotel. The food here is cheap but rubbish for a 4 star hotel. So I decided to try the New King House as it had very good reviews and is only a 10 min walk from my hotel. The food, decor and service are all first class. I highly recommend 👍

My favourite sushi place in Tirana since a long time now and i make sure to visit everytime i visit the city. The sushi is to die for but last time i was surprised by the desserts too which i definitely recommend!

I had heard about this place but never made it before. This is like a hidden gem in Tirana. The excellent service was what struck me at first, friendly and professional. The food was outstanding - the sushi, the noodles -particularly the shrimp ones - and even the salads. The setting is very nice, cozy and with a modern feeling. Good wine selection.

It would be a 5-star review, if not for one thing, the prices.I cannot really say anything bad about the food, the service, the friendly staff or the overall atmosphere, everything about this restaurant is amazing, but for my humble opinion it is way too expensive.

Excellent restaurant with fresh, well prepared seafood. The arugula salad was good (apart from being oversalted) and big enough for 2-3 people. The shaved Parmesan cheese in it was tasty and plentiful. If you don't like a lot of salt try asking for them to go easy on it.The fish soup was excellent and welcome on a cool evening. The sea bass with vegetables was well prepared and also good, although more vegetables (there was only a small bit of roast cauliflower and two thin slices of zucchini) would have been welcome [they were tasty though].The fudge brownie with vanilla ice cream was the only miss of the meal. It looked much better than it tasted. It had a burnt taste and wasn't all that chocolatty.Credit cards are accepted.

Fresh and delicious seafood, friendly and not annoying staff, lovely ambience. Prices are also good: we had smoked salmon salad, grilled seabass, tuna fillet with spinach, 4 oysters and two glasses of house wine - 4,600lek in total. Highly recommend!

The place is gorgeous, has a cozy atmosphere and it’s well decorated, some art pieces, it keep reminding you that you’re at a fish restaurant. The service was relaxed and professional and the food was tasty - some dishes better than others in my opinion. Especially the one on the picture below, the seafood platter was also tasty! And the price is quite good, at the end we ordered too many plates. If you eat the soup, one or two starters are probably enough once it’s well served and you might want to scarpetta to enjoy the sauces fully.

Fast my favourite restaurant in Tirana. We had the kalamari, the seafood linguini, fish with roasted vegetables and the spinach and beetroot salad to start. Horrible experience. We sat at the restaurant around 1 pm and we were able to order at 2. We had little kids with us that were starving and yet servers were going first to other tables that were filled after us. The first plate came around 2:45 and the rest every 15 minutes. No napkins, not enough forks, nothing. We had our drinks at the end. Not worth it!

We were on a family lunch two times this week. The pizza was ok, the pasta was great, but my husband had stomach problems after eating sea food, both times. Also, we had coffee at the beach bar, but that was not freddo cappuccino as I ordered, it was Nescafe from a can. The staff was polite.

The service is very rushed and leaves a lot to be desired. We had to ask for lots of things that should have been there from the start (like napkins). The food is pretty good but the fish comes with no sides so you'll need to remember that too. The portions are decent but the prices quite high for what is offered - you can easily get better seafood around, with better service, bigger portions and cheaper.

Went here after reading good reviews, but food is tasteless and wait time is too long.- First of all menu pictures and actual food are totally different, do not expect to get what you see.- Mediocre salads especially Shrimp Cesar with almost no sauce, burned bread crumbs.- We ordered 2 starters, salad, soup and fish. It took 1 and a half hours to make starters and still didn't get to get a fish, but they included it in the check.The only thing which was good is a waitress who was friendly.Overall overpriced,waste of time and money.

This seafood restaurant is hidden just across the rivervas you approach Blokku from Skandeberg square. The furniture and ambiance are casual and relaxed, but the food is excellent. One of the only fish shops to fully devein their shrimp for krudo, which shows there is care put into their cooking. The bread is also excellent. If you're coming from overseas, the service will feel a little slow as the staff is small (family run), but for Albania the service is fairly normal, though they are friendlier here.I've not had a bad dish yet, so rather than reccomend one I'd say order what you like. Price is good compared to other locations. Fish selection may be more limited in comparison on some days, but your other options are paying through the nose at Pieru, or getting awful service at Fishop. I'd vote Kronos every time.

Lovely place. Extremely friendly staff. The menu focuses on seafood and they don’t disappoint. The recommendations from the wait staff are on point. Some of the best seafood soup I’ve had in a long time followed by fresh mullet made to order. If you’re in Tirana, and you like seafood, this is where you should be!

Really very excellent lunch, well prepared fresh and delicious. The Rei Mar salade and the cornbread bruschetta were excellent, but the grilled scorpion fish was out of this world. And the house white wine goes very well with seafood. Wonderful experience overall.

I've been going to this restaurant for over ten years, when it literally was a "whole in the wall" and I have never been let down. Even though the restaurant has gotten bigger and nicer/fancier looking, the food still tastes delicious and the fish is always super fresh. And I love seeing the same waiter every time I go. I don't know his name, but he is the sweetest!Best price/quality place you will find in Tirana and surroundings, for sure.
