This bread is so quick and just tastes really delicious. The tasty hemp seeds, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds give the bread a crisp and delicious bite. The bread doesn´t take any resting time and is therefore quickly made. From now on there is always fresh bread in the house.

You can make the bread also with 100% spelt flour!

Quick spelt bread

300 g spelt flour (type 630)
200 g whole wheat flour (Type 1050)
1 tsp sea salt
500 g of lukewarm water
1 packet of dry yeast
130 g seeds (e.g. 30 g hemp seeds, 50 g pumpkin seeds, 50 g sunflower seeds)
1-2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
also
2 tbsp (spelt flakes or rolled oats and quinoa flakes)
some vegan butter for the baking pan
baking pan

Grease a 25 cm baking pan and sprinkle with the spelt flakes and quinoa flakes. Put aside.
Put lukewarm water in a large bowl and add the dry yeast, stir with a whisk and let it dissolve. Mix both types of flour, salt and the seeds together.
Add flour mix and apple cider vinegar in the bowl to the yeast and stir well. Put the soft liquid dough in the baking pan and sprinkle the surface with some spelt and quinoa flakes.
Place the baking pan in the cold oven and bake at 200 ° C for 60 minutes.
Let the bread cool in the pan for 2 minutes and then let it cool completely on a wire rack.
Enjoy with jam or with fresh sprouts, a little salt and butter.

A quick spelt bread with delicious seeds like hemp seeds and sunflower seeds. The spelt bread is crispy, moist and simple.

hello thanks for this recipe. Do you mean 500ml of water? We do not use grams for liquids so it is very hard to determine the amount required for this recipe.

Hi, yes that´s correct you can use 500ml of Water. I often use grams because so I have the exactly number of liquid :).
