“Nobody can pilot the Gundam as well as I can!” So HOLY CROW this is a masterful follow up. One of the rare sequels that gets super granular, both in plot and character, but doesn’t totally beef it. I really loved all the shifting settings and how the designs of the mechs and vehicles totally compliment one another. I loved all the intimate fighting and weird spy craft stuff we get into this round. I freaking REALLY loved that basically every Zeon ground soldier who attacks White Base is both startled and horrified that they are seeing children on board
